THE PARTICULARS OF FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO CITIZENS FOR OBTAINING INFORMATION INCLUDING THE WORKING HOURS IN ZONAL OFFICE (WEST).

The Food Corporation of India has created an independent cell namely "RTI CELL" exclusively for matters relating to information under Right to Information Act,2005.

Fee :

A request for obtaining information should be accompanied by an application alongwith fees by way of cash against proper receipt or by demand draft or bankers’ cheque payable FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA, WEST ZONE. The details of fee payable under the Act are as under :-

· Rupees ten for information under sub-section(1) of Section 6 of the Act.

· Fee payable under sub-section(1) of Section 7 of the Act on following rates:-

o Rupees two for each page (in A-4 or A-3 size paper) created or copied.

o Actual charge or cost price of a copy in large size paper.

o Actual cost of price for samples or models; and

o For inspection of records, no fee for the first hour and a fee of rupees Five for each fifteen minutes ( or fraction thereof ) thereafter.

· Fee under sub-section(5) of Section 7 payable as under:-

o 9; For information provided in disc or floppy rupees fifty per disc or floppy; and

o 9; For information provided in printed form at the price fixed for sub publication or rupees two per page of photocopy for extracts from the publication.
